Dry Erase walls are awesome!

I know there are a lot of moms out there who own their own business and have the monumental task of keeping their kids busy at work, after school. i.e. Once snacks are eaten, homework is done (assisted) and they've each read on their own for 20 minutes, it's all too easy to turn on the TV or give them a device. So, when I happened to stumble across dry erase paint at Home Depot, I was thrilled! I didn't even know such a thing existed!

It took a couple of weeks of trial and error to complete (because instead of 2 coats as the instructions indicated, I actually had to do 4) but we all loved the result. Unfortunately color markers don't come off the wall very easily (bummer, I know) but the black alone works great for us. In fact we love it so much, we decided that we needed two walls! One is for us, and the other for the kids. 

I highly recommend a dry erase wall anywhere that you need to keep the kids occupied. Especially if they are super artsy like my kids. Everyone wins!

Check out our pretty Pixie Girls having a blast during one of our photo shoots! Vicki's daughters have been doing this for 4 years now and they have graduated to "paid Pixie Girl model" status. They know what they're doing and we're happy to pay them!

INTRODUCING: Miss Molly!

 Meet Molly!

Molly is our Pixie Girl gentle giant. She is a "Harlequin" (black and white spots) Great Dane. She weighs approximately 120 pounds and is 1 year and 2 months old.

Her hobbies include waiting for Vicki's kids at the bus-stop ever so patiently,

lounging at the Pixie Girl Offices with her buddy Buster the Boston Terrier,

                                       

smooching Vicki's girls during our Pixie Girl photo shoots,

chewing on her favorite UGG shoe (or coffee table),

"Kids are coming! Kids are coming! It's time! It's time!"  And, here we go again.

Molly is the most loving and gentle dog we have ever had. She brightens up everyone's day. We hope you enjoyed meeting Molly!

HELLO WORLD! Pixie Girl now has a blog!

We here at Pixie Girl are so excited to announce the launch of our blog and we hope you're ready for the smorgasbord of goodies coming your way! There's SO MUCH to look forward to!

While we'll certainly be posting about new styles, sales, and promotions, our main focus will be sharing ourselves and the things we do, with you! Vicki will be very involved with the blog. See below for a more detailed breakdown.
