I know there are a lot of moms out there who own their own business and have the monumental task of keeping their kids busy at work, after school. i.e. Once snacks are eaten, homework is done (assisted) and they've each read on their own for 20 minutes, it's all too easy to turn on the TV or give them a device. So, when I happened to stumble across dry erase paint at Home Depot, I was thrilled! I didn't even know such a thing existed!
It took a couple of weeks of trial and error to complete (because instead of 2 coats as the instructions indicated, I actually had to do 4) but we all loved the result. Unfortunately color markers don't come off the wall very easily (bummer, I know) but the black alone works great for us. In fact we love it so much, we decided that we needed two walls! One is for us, and the other for the kids.
I highly recommend a dry erase wall anywhere that you need to keep the kids occupied. Especially if they are super artsy like my kids. Everyone wins!
